In the name of God Amen I Charles Birt of Ashton Underhill in the County of Gloucester Labourer do make ordain and appoint this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following. First I Will order and direct that all my just Debts shall be paid and my Body decently Buried by my Executor and Executrix to be hereafter named And as to and for all such Goods Chattels and Effects which God has been pleased to bestow upon me I give bequeath and devise the same in manner and form as follows I give bequeath and devise all my right title and interest in those three Houses and gardens situate at and in the parish of Cowley in the County of Gloucester and now in my possession of Tenant that Rents them under me to my Daughter Sophia Yeend and I give all my late Wife’s wearing apparel to my Daughter Anne Birt I give to my son Richard Birt the sum of one shilling I give to my Daughter Hester Martin the sum of one shilling I give to my Daughter Hannah Bayzand the sum of one shilling. All the Rests Residue and remains of my Goods Chattels and Effects by what name soever they are or may be called or known or wheresoever they are or may be found I give bequeath and devise the same to my son Charles Birt to be equally parted and divided between them share and share alike And I do hereby make constitute ordain and appoint my said Son Charles Birt to be full whole and sole Executor and Executrix of this my last Will and testament whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and seal this fourteenth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred.
