The family I am trying to trace are from around the Loxley area of Warwickshire. I am having difficulty matching the right "Richards" with the right wives, but as more information becomes available I think I will get this sorted.

JOHN BOLTER 1827: 1841 - 13 yrs, living with father and siblings in Shottery, Old Stratford. 1851 - 22 yrs, agricultural labourer, living with widowed father and siblings in Shottery, Old Stratford.

JOHN BOLTER 1840: 1841 - 1 yr, with parents in grandparents household. 1851 - 10 yrs, living with parents in Loxley. 1871 - 31 yrs, agricultural labourer dwelling 18 Windsor St., Old Stratford, with wife. 1881 - 42 yrs, general labourer, dwelling 10 Ely St., Stratford on Avon, with wife and lodger 73 yr old William Parsons presumeably Sarah's father), general labourer b. SOA.

Also next on census page to older half brother William Evetts, his wife and unmarried son. 1871 - 66 yrs, widowed agricultural labourer, boarding with son and his family in Stratford. 1881 - 77 yrs, Agricultural labourer, dwelling Union Workshop in Old Stratford. Died aged 84 yrs.

Wife CHARLOTTE abt 1838: Daughter of Elizabeth. 1861 - 23 yrs, unmarried seamstress boarding with the grandfather and father of her son. 1871 - 33 yrs. 1881 - 42 yrs. 18 October 1881 - Charlotte imprisoned for 3 months on a charge of "Larrcony from the person and receiving". 1891 - 54 yrs. 1901 - 64 yrs. Died aged 69 yrs.

RICHARD JOHN DRAKELEY 1858: 1861 - John 2 yrs in household of grandfather, along with unmarried father and mother who is a boarder! 1881 - 22 yrs, general labourer, living with parents. 1891 - 32 yrs, general labourer, living with parents. 1901 - 42 yrs, Brewers Drayman, living with parents. Died aged 70 yrs. Surname Bolter at death registration and in all census records.

SARAH ANN abt 1866:
